Artist WorkshopsApril 25-27 Watercolor WorkshopThe Watercolor Workshop with Bev Jozwiak will be held in Seattle at Studio 77, April 25-27, 2012. Studio 77 is a private studio located in the Phinney Ridge/Ballard area of Seattle. The class will be small so that each student will receive as much personal attention as possible. Each day, the class will begin promptly at 9:00 am and end at 4:00 pm. Catered lunch is included in the price of the workshop. A list of hotels and inns will be provided for out-of-town students after registration. There is plenty of on-street parking. Bev will be teaching the figure and still life, using photo references. All students will be expected to come to class with six prepared drawings on Fabriano 140# hot press paper. Bev will demo both morning and afternoon with student painting time following each demo. The cost of the workshop is $380.00, which includes the catered lunch, snacks and coffee. In order to be assured of a place in the class, students must send $180 by check or money order (only USD please) indicating that they want to be on the list. Credit cards and Paypal can also be used (there will be a 4% processing fee for every transaction). You will need to be invoiced for Paypal or credit card so let Mareth know if you want to pay this way. Please send all your contact info, including name, address, phone and email. The remaining $200 will be due by April 1, 2012. Prior to April 1, all but $25 processing fee can be returned. After April 1, all but $100 will be returned. Bev Jozwiak/Cole Gallery Workshop March 17-19 (3 day workshop)Thinking outside the box ( A no-nonsense approach) This workshop is designed to help students at every skill level, to master techniques, design and color. Learn to paint boldly, think outside the box and paint outside the lines with examples of basic color mixing including luscious greens, glowing whites, great grays, and rich blacks. Develop good composition and strong values. Demos every day.

All of your questions will be answered, to achieve the end result you want. There will be time to paint your passion with individual attention when needed. Learn basic color mixing including luscious greens, glowing whites and rich blacks. Develop good composition and strong values. We will work on figures, flowers, animals, and more. Learn to think outside the box. Live, eat and breathe art by staying at the Tolovana Inn in Cannon Beach Oregon for the total workshop experience.
